about

Album Notes
This is Ro'i Raz's second instrumental album as a leader in which he continues to develop his seasoned mixture of jazz harmony and middle eastern melodies and rythms in all acoustic dressings. Employing some of Israel best studio musicians, the album contains Ro'i's original tunes and arrangements to traditional melodies.
"...As more as ethnic music has become common property, it created new channels for individual expression based on values of delicate aesthetics... Kedma-Yama Ensemble is the sharp point of this genre..." (Gil Gibli, Israeli Globes)
